Interior Designer – Retail Furniture
Our client is a Retail Furniture & Home Furnishings company seeking an Interior Designer to interpret and develop client briefs to deliver tailored interior design solutions. The ideal candidate would possess a strong understanding of design trends, innovation, and spatial planning, and be skilled in translating concepts into cohesive design solutions, considering both aesthetics and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage end-to-end design projects, from concept development to execution.
· Develop mood boards to present and visualize design concepts
· Prepare feasibility reports and design proposals based on client objectives.
· Generate furniture plans and elevations with intelligent graphics on AutoCAD
· Present innovative designs, materials, and finishes, including samples and pricing, to the team
· Conduct research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of design trends
· Source materials, products, and suppliers in alignment with client budgets.
· Oversee project progress to ensure alignment with design goals and client satisfaction
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
· Expertise in furniture design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment).
· Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and SketchUp is advantageous.
· Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and retail interior design
· Business acumen with a strong awareness of cost versus revenue implications in design.
· Proven teamwork and coordination skills with suppliers and contractors for successful project execution.
